Building a Sustainable Future: Challenges for Initial Teacher Training describes and reflects upon the work of the 'Partners in Change' project concerned with embedding Education for Sustainable Development (ESD) within Initial Teacher Training (ITT).

In this book, the teacher training department of three institutions - London South Bank University, Goldsmiths University and the University of Greenwich - share their experiences. Their journeys will encourage and inspire others who recognise the need for values-led teacher training. They also offer an important step in looking at how we can build the capacity of new teachers so that they can contribute to a meaningful education system - one which helps us all on a path to a more just and sustainable future.
