East Midlands Development Agency
East Midlands Development Agency (EMDA) is one of nine Regional Development Agencies whose vision it is for the economy of the East Midlands to be a top 20 region in Europe by 2010.
This ambitious target can be achieved by making the east Midlands a place where people want to live, work and invest. And they'll want to do this if we create a vibrant, successful economy, a healthy, safe and inclusive society and a good quality environment.
REEIO has helped to achieve RES targets and growth corridor targets, and is being applied within the Regional Energy and Waste Strategy Group. The REEIO will be used to inform the Sustainable Communities Strategy and the development of Quality of Life scenarios.
