SCPnet participation in “RAMEA” - European Project to Develop a New State-of-the-Art Tool for Economy-Environment Monitoring at a Regional Level
SCPnet, through the Environment Agency and SEEDA, participated with regions in the Netherlands, Poland and Italy, to develop RAMEA, a regional Economy-Environment accounting framework aimed to further help regional policy-makers identify and quantify the potential environmental impacts associated with regional policies, based on best practice and robust regional data.

SCPNET have commissioned research to assess what kinds of SCP data and evidence are used in the English regions at the moment and what is the potential to develop new evidence that would help shift policies towards SCP. Looking at recently revised Regional Economic Strategies and Regional Spatial Strategies, this report suggests a way of organising how we think about SCP evidence which helps us apply the right information in the right place.
