SCPnet Conference 2008 - Day One
Taking Stock of Where We Are Now
Regional government is undergoing expansive evolution, as a result new roles and responsibilities are emerging. The first day therefore centred upon whether or not the original SCP philosophy, objectives and delivery methodology were:
- Still appropriate today, particularly in the light of Sub-National Review
- Adequate to address the changing needs of the regions
The inter-regional workshops formed a key part in this evaluation, giving delegates the opportunity to share experience and learn how SCP is being applied in the different regions.
