The purpose of Sustainable Consumption and Production Network is threefold:
1. To promote the effective use of better evidence in designing policies that support sustainable consumption and production;
2. To identify evidential gaps and develop further information, tools and approaches to support evidence-based policy;
3. To assess progress in promoting sustainable consumption and production in the sponsoring regions.
