Is the data ‘local’ or is it simply a proxy of national data?
The local accounts are based on local expenditure data. These have been derived from regional expenditure data by using both surveys and modelling techniques. For more information, please visit the CACI website.
This analysis can be supplemented by local data, for example on waste, transport and energy, which will make it more responsive to local policies.
