Process and overview
The process for this developmental stage of the community engagement project has been drafted to be as open as possible to allow for maximum input from second pilots, whilst providing a framework on which to base debate.
What we have provided is a structured way of thinking about community engagement activities and their impact on the sustainability of organisational and consumer behaviours. This structure enables those working on projects to develop and record the following:
- The aims and purpose of their community engagement
- The objectives for their community engagement
- How people and organisations behave before the intervention
- What happens during the intervention
- How peoples’ and organisations’ behaviour has changed after the intervention
- Examine other influencing factors
The process has evolved around standard project management and evaluation practice and has the following stages, the shaded areas we have called set up;
