Past pilots
The Community Engagement and Sustainable Development project has already been piloted in 2 phases. In phase 1, Bristol City Council and Surrey County Council tested the tool on their own sustainable development projects and helped us to iron out any practical issues with the tool. In the second phase, Durham County Council, Kirklees Metropolitan Borough Council, Lewes District Council and West Devon Environment Network tested the tool on their projects and shaped the tool still further.
Previous Pilot Stories:
Bristol City Council
Bristol City Council has embarked on an ambitious regeneration project for the Brislington area in Bristol. They were developing a community engagement programme to help to develop a ‘sustainable neighbourhood plan’ for the regeneration of the area. >>
Surrey County Council

Durham County Council
Maggie and Claire are using the tool to evaluate two projects. The Action Packed Futures Festival day is a fun-day focusing on sustainability and green issues. The council wanted to find out whether attending the day had any impact on the behaviour and attitudes of those attending. >>
